Billie Lou Watt

Billie Lou Watt (June 20, 1924 - September 7, 2001) was an American voice actress. She provided the voice of Ma Bagge in Courage the Cowardly Dog from season 1 to season 3. She was also the English voice of the title character in Astro Boy, the first anime to be brought to the United States, and continued to voice characters in anime until the late 70s or early 80s.

She died of lung cancer on September 7, 2001 being 77 years old; following her death, the character of Ma Bagge was retired and the fourth season of the show featured a dedication to her in the voice credits.
